Today (2/15), our newest version of Billing Manager went live. In this update, we focused a lot on making our product easier to learn, easier to use, and responding to suggestions that we’ve received from talking with our customers.

Here are some of the changes that you can see as you look through our updated product:

Customize your payment due date

You don’t use NET 15, 30, or 60 for invoice terms? No problem! We heard feedback from our users that the preset terms weren’t cutting it, so we’re happy to say that you can now choose your own due date with customizable terms.

Customize the units of your invoice line items

Our previous version of Billing Manager offered the ability to choose from 5 types of units for a line item (hour, day, month, foot, item). Now, we’ve given you the ability to create your own custom units to fit your invoicing needs.

Do more from within “My Address Book”

If any of your contacts have an email address stored in Billing Manager, you can click their email address from this page and automatically open your default email program to write an email. If there is a street address stored with this contact, you can click the “Map” link to open a Google map of this location.

Other time-saving enhancements

We’ve made it easier to send reminders for overdue invoices, added navigation links to the “Update an Invoice” page (see picture below), and made it so the invoice total updates as you type your line items. We think that little time-savers like this can make a big difference.

So as you continue to use our product be on the lookout for these and some of our other changes. And if you have any feedback please feel free to get in touch with us.

Take care,

Colin
