I agree with the remittance slip issue. I am not using Billing Manager Merchant Services. So the remittance slip does not offer credit card sales. I think there is a bug because it continues to be attached to the invoice even with the box checked to do otherwise. Also, we invoice on the spot from the trucks with laptops and we collect upon completion.
The subject line on the email says " You have received an invoice from WyattWorks due on xx/xx/xxxx. " This does not work for COD businesses. So the techs have to edit each subject line before it goes out. Is it possible to make the subject line editable as a default?

Well, it's March 2010 and the problem is still there. I've cleared my cookies and my cache, closed all the windows, and it persists.

It only happens in Firefox 3.6 (my main browser), I can get in via IE or Safari just fine.

I use Billing Manager for my computer repair/technician business, and would love a place to put system information (make/model/serial/OS, etc.). Some sort of customizable fields to put in. Could be like that for auto repair to, for vehicle info.

"intuit Billing Manager" I Love you! :-) As a start up / New business in it's self is very... challenging enough! However with your professionally detailed and user friendly invoicing system, all mine and my customers invoice files are organized and at our finger tips! And of which, makes mine and their business life a whole lot easier! By the way, please check out my All Natural Gourmet Cheesecakes on-line (Ecommerce site - under construction). Also find them soon in the freezer shelves of various Natural-Whole Foods Markets and plates of fine dining spots throughout SF Bay Area and beyond! I just know you too will LOVE my (All Natural, NO Sugar Added/diabetic friendly) Gourmet Cheesecakes!

Again, thanks so much for desiging such an 'amazing' product. It will do any business good!

All the best,

Lame, lame, lame. Why would you offer recurring billing on billing manager, and not make it part of the basic package for quickbooks online? Why not make it so billing manager syncs with Quickbooks Pro for $9.95 a month? These options bring an amazing lack of creativity and affordability for the small business owner like myself. It frustrates me that I paid so much for a Quickbooks Pro, and have so little online integration without forking out a boatload of cash more.

I love the Billing Manager - the design is so fresh and easy to use. I recently started the free trial of Quickbooks Online and was disappointed to find that it's not the same experience. It reminds me more of the old quickbooks that was too confusing to use.

IMPORTANT: Also, I keep seeing "x's" in my account where my name etc should be.

Please advise.

Come on Intuit! You guys have always been great for my Business! Why do you refuse to let me make invoice's with the Iphone? It's such a small thing to add and would put this product at the head of the crowd. Everyone posting in these comments has had the same problem, and either you're ignoring them which just makes us angry or your incapable, Which is sad. I know that technically this is a "Free" service, but I pay for your software, I pay for Merchant Service. I think it's only fair that we the people get what we want. Or at the very least explain yourselves, don't just ignore us.

If you already have a Merchant Account ("accept credit cards") in Billing Manager, your Merchant Account will be usable from QuickBooks Online and the monthly rate and per transaction charges will stay the same. However, if you don't have a Merchant Account before exporting, but later add it in QuickBooks Online, then the QuickBooks Online rates apply. These rates are listed at http://quickbooksonline.intuit.com/screen_mas.cfm. They are geared to save you money if you have a higher transaction volume. Billing Manager's rates are geared to a lower transaction volume.

Is there a way to modify the mail-body, as I want one of the following 2:

* Remove the "Remittance Slip" in the page that shows when clicking the link in the mail-body (the page that opens shows the Remittance Slip, regardless of the setting in the backend), OR
* Remove the subject-line with the on-line invoice-view (as then I put the PDF in, that doesnt create the additional page when the tick isnt set).

What I need in the invoice is some additional business information. F.e. the bank-account-number, VAT-number, Chamber-of-Commerce number.

The layouts are good, but some flexibility would be nice. In NL, f.e. the ZIP-code is placed before the City. The current places it US-style.

What I do NOT need, is the "Remittance Slip", as that doesnt make sense with only Money-Transfer is allowed. The settings now allows for the "Remittance Slip" to not show in the generated PDF, but it does show in the mail, that is send to the customer, in the link to the invoice. So I would rather have either the mail-body customizable OR no Remittance Slip when the setting is Unchecked.

Billing Manager is $9.95 with the Merchant Account. I would assume that Quickbooks online will have an option for a Merchant Account in addition to their $9.95 cost. If so, how much more, and are the % rates comparable?

So if we've exported the address book to QBO in the past, the new full export won't work? Is there a way to break the link between these two? I really would like to export to QBO ASAP! Thanks.

I should say, I trialed QBO earlier in the year and felt it was too much at that time, now I'm wishing I would have stuck with it. Please advise on how I can get my current information exported over.

Thanks.
